Abbey Home Media sails in with a great new release!

Join Little Hoot, Flea and all the other stars of the highly popular pre-school television series Wide Eye on BBC and CBeebies, in this second VHS and DVD release - The Jolly Natterjack.

Containing 5 fun filled adventures set in the magical world of the Natterjack Forest, The Jolly Natterjack is packed with mischief and mayhem, including pirate ships, searching for treasure, meeting a Snapdragon Monster, learning to swim and enjoying the birthday fun of Conchita’s Party. Adventures include: The Jolly Natterjack, Komodo’s Crossing, Snapdragon Monster, 99’s Boot and Conchita’s Party. Plus the DVD contains interactive extras-filled with specially devised games (name the character, spot the difference, counting games and more) and DVD-Rom content (gift cards to print out and colour in, dot-to-dot fun and wallpapers) for pre-school ages that will prove both educational and entertaining.

Co-produced by the BBC and Abbey and made by the BAFTA award-winning King Rollo Films, the Wide Eye series is full of humour, strong storylines and music, and features voiceovers from such star names as Jane Horrocks (‘Absolutely Fabulous’, ‘Little Voice’) and Anton Rodgers (‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ and ‘The Merchant of Venice, 2004).

Wide Eye and friends from the Natterjack Forest are also featured in the Government supported Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA) Healthy Eating campaign ‘Feeding Young Imaginations’, helping to illustrate the message that healthy eating can be fun! Working with the British Nutritional Foundation the campaign’s aim is to promote healthy eating amongst the under fives.
